UNEC Digital Volunteers Organization

The “Digital Volunteers” Organization is an initiative established at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics based on the membership of students with digital skills.

Objectives and Responsibilities of the Organization
• The main purpose of establishing the Organization is to support the development of students’ digital skills, provide technical assistance to the university’s academic staff, students, and employees, contribute to the creation of an effective operational mechanism in this field, and support the systematic implementation of activities aimed at developing students’ initial work skills;
• UNEC students may become members of the “Digital Volunteers” Organization and participate in voluntary activities in technical fields;
• The activities of the Organization are based on the principles of voluntariness, equality of rights, and self-governance;
• In its activities, the Organization is guided by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the relevant decisions, orders, and directives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, as well as the University Charter and this Regulation;


• The Organization does not have the status of a legal entity;
The Organization may have its own logo, official letterhead bearing this logo, as well as a flag;
• To develop students’ digital skills;
• To ensure the provision of technical support to the university’s academic staff, students, and employees;
• To provide awareness-raising and educational support in the field of digital technologies for UNEC academic staff and students;
• To support the effective use of social media accounts by academic staff;
• To carry out systematic activities aimed at developing students’ initial work skills.
