Jeyhun Ramiz oghlu Jalilov was born in 1987 in the city of Shahbuz, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
He completed his bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) in 2009 and earned his master’s degree at the same university in 2012.
In 2013, he completed a master’s program in Finance at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. He subsequently continued his professional studies at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at the Strategic Level.
Between 2011 and 2013, Jeyhun Jalilov worked at the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Department for Cooperation with International Organizations.
From 2013 to 2021, he held various positions within the Finance Department of BP Caspian.
On 1 March 2021, he was appointed Adviser to the Chairperson of the Management Board of the Sustainable and Operational Social Security Agency (DOST).
On 13 August 2021, he was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board.
By the Decree of the Chairperson of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated 15 March 2023, he was appointed Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
On 25 April 2024, he was relieved of this position and appointed Prime Minister of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
By the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 12 November 2025, he was appointed Authorized Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
