Public Union “Support for the Scientific Activities of Economics Students” The main purpose of the Union is to enhance the knowledge of economics students and support their scientific research activities.
About the Public Union “Support for the Scientific Activities of Economics Students”
The Public Union “Support for the Scientific Activities of Economics Students” was established on 18 September 2015 by a decision of the Academic Council of UNEC.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Associations and Foundations),” the Union is a voluntary, self-governing public association founded on the initiative of several individuals united by common interests and the objectives defined in its Charter. The Union does not pursue profit as its primary goal, does not distribute income among its members, and operates on a permanent basis.
Since its establishment, the organization has organized and partnered in more than 50 projects. For the first time in Azerbaijan, it successfully implemented the “Youth Career Forum – 2016” project.
Objectives and Functions:
• To promote state initiatives implemented in the fields of science, education, and youth policy;
• To encourage cooperation and experience sharing among students;
• To support the development of creativity among economics students;
• To conduct scientific research and organize various courses, seminars, round tables, meetings, and exhibitions;
• To establish cooperation with various non-governmental organizations, as well as regional and international institutions operating in the country and abroad, and to implement joint projects;
• To freely disseminate information about its objectives and activities and, in accordance with legislation, establish printed publications;
• To cooperate with relevant state and municipal bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as international organizations.
